Working with OpenEdge database indexes
Indexes are used to speed up the process of searching and sorting rows. Every table can have one or more indexes.
In the DB Navigator perspective, index names for connected databases are listed in the DB Structure view. When you select a table name (or one of a table's child nodes), index details are listed in both the Indexes and the OpenEdge Indexes tabs in the DB Details view.
