OpenEdge Debugger : Introduction : Debugging in a distributed environment

Debugging in a distributed environment

The OpenEdge Debugger supports debugging application code in a distributed environment in two modes, distributed debugging and remote debugging. These modes provide two different models for debugging your distributed application. Both modes use the same Debugger window to debug remote procedures.
Note: Running the Debugger in attachable mode can be considered a form of debugging in a distributed environment, as you can run the Debugger on one machine and debug a client process on another machine within the same LAN. For more information, see Debuggingin attachable mode
