The Distributed DataServer using ProBroker
ProBroker is the original broker framework for spawning server component of the DataServer products. ProBroker is started from a command line or from an operating system script. It uses a traditional “fork/exec” broker model as it receives client connection requests. It is a standalone process rather than part of a system framework. As such, it has none of the management, configuration or validation capabilities of the Unified Broker Framework. There is one additional command, “proshut”, that allows the user to terminate a started ProBroker process.
