The mergeprop utility is a command-line utility that supports functionality similar to that supported by OpenEdge Management or OpenEdge Explorer configuration tool. It is an alternative approach to configuring and managing the content of the OpenEdge property files. Property files, such as the ubroker.properties file used by the DataServer, store configuration information that specifies and controls the behavior of various components.
