Adding a new database connection to a project

To create a new database connection:

From the Project Explorer view, select a project.
Right-click to expand the context menu.
From the context menu, select Properties.
In the Project Properties page, expand Progress OpenEdge in the tree view on the left.
Select Database Connections.
Select Configure Database Connections from the top of the Database Connections properties page.
Click New to open the Add Connection Profile wizard.
Specify connection parameters on pages of the . When you complete the wizard, the new connection is listed in the page. Click the checkbox next to the connection name to add it to the project.
