OpenEdge-supplied software
Your installation must have:
DataServer for MS SQL Server
WebSpeed Transaction Server Release 10 or later, or OpenEdge Release 10 or later
Data-source server software
Your installation must have:
Microsoft SQL Server Version 7.0 or higher
Data source client software
Your installation must have:
Client connectivity component software from your SQL Server installation.

ODBC software
Your installation might have:
An ODBC Driver for the version of Microsoft SQL Server you are using. (optional)

Progress Software Corporation supplies the DataDirect ODBC driver, which is automatically installed when you install the DataServer for MS SQL Server.
