Progress® DataDirect® Hybrid Data Pipeline is a light weight software service that is designed to allow applications to access data from data sources that are in the cloud or on-premises. Your application can use a single API – ODBC, JDBC, or OData – to access any of the data source types we support – SQL, Big Data, and NoSQL.

You can be up and running after following a few simple steps:
Use the installer to quickly set up Hybrid Data Pipeline Server on a Linux machine.
Use the current version of popular browsers for configuration management to set up a connection to data source types such as DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Service Cloud, and Oracle Sales Cloud.
If your application uses ODBC, install the ODBC driver, and configure the driver for use with your data source.
If your application uses JDBC, install the JDBC driver, and configure the driver for use with your data source.
Configure your application to use the Hybrid Data Pipeline ODBC or JDBC client, or use OData to query your application.
Configure the On-Premises Connector if your data travels over the internet and through your corporate firewall.
