64-bit driver Windows system requirements
If your application was built with 64-bit system libraries, you must use the 64-bit driver. If your application was built with 32-bit system libraries, you must use the 32-bit driver (see 32-bit driver Windows system requirements). For the latest information on supported environments, see the Hybrid Data Pipeline support matrix.
The following processors are supported:
*Intel
*AMD
The following 64-bit operating systems are supported for the ODBC driver. All editions are supported unless otherwise noted.
*Windows 10
*Windows 8, 8.1
*Windows 7
*Windows Vista
*Microsoft Windows XP, Service Pack 2 and higher
*Windows Server 2012, Service Pack 2
*Windows Server 2008
Requirements for a 64-bit application that will use the ODBC driver include:
*It must be compatible with components that were built using Microsoft C/C++ Optimizing Compiler Version 14.00.40310.41 and the standard Windows 64 threading model.
*ODBC header files must be used to compile your application. For example, Microsoft Visual Studio includes these files.
