If your application was built with 32-bit system libraries, you must use the 32-bit driver. If your application was built with 64-bit system libraries, you must use the 64-bit driver (see 64-bit driver Windows system requirements). The following 32-bit operating systems are supported for the ODBC driver. All editions are supported unless otherwise noted.

Requirements for an application that will use the ODBC driver include:
It must be compatible with components that were built using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 compiler and the standard Win32 threading model.
ODBC header files must be used to compile your application. For example, Microsoft Visual Studio includes these files.
