OE Web Server context menu
Right-clicking an OE Web Server instance in the Servers view displays the OE Web Server context menu. This menu has the following options:
Option
Description
New
Creates a new OE Web Server instance.
Open
Copy
Copies the selected OE Web Server.
Paste
Creates a new OE Web Server server node of the copied OE Web Server.
Delete
Deletes an OE Web Server instance.
Rename
Modifies the name of a selected OE Web Server.
Restart
Restarts the selected OE Web Server instance.
Note: This option will be available only when an OE Web Server instance is started and running.
Start/Stop
Starts or stops the selected OE Web Server instance.
Publish
Publishes the selected OE Web Server to the Apache Tomcat Java container. See Publishing a REST service.
Clean
Removes any invalid resources from the server before doing a republish. See Using the Clean option.
Add and Remove
Opens the Add and Remove dialog which allows you to associate the REST services with a selected OE Web Server instance.
Monitoring
Opens the Monitoring properties page which you can use to monitor server ports to view data sent and received over the ports of the selected OE Web Server.
OpenEdge Explorer
Opens the OpenEdge Explorer page. When started, OpenEdge Explorer prompts for an administrator user name and password. The default is admin for both. After login, it runs in a browser embedded in the active perspective.
Server Monitor
Opens the Progress OpenEdge Server Monitor view. This view allows you to view the status and properties of the deployed OE Web Server instance and REST services.
Properties
Opens the General properties page for the selected OE Web Server. This page contains general information of the OE Web Server such as Name, Type, Vendor, and Location.
