To create an OpenEdge database:

In the Connections
view, click Menu
and choose Create OpenEdge database.
- In the Create Database dialog, enter the physical name of the database and its full path. Click Files to browse to the appropriate directory.
- Using the radio buttons, select the type of database you want to start with.

Click OK. A confirmation message appears.
Note: To connect to the database after creating it, you must create a SQL connection profile and start a server for the database.
