To launch OpenEdge Explorer (a tool for configuring databases) from Progress
OpenEdge Developer Studio's DB Navigator perspective, click the
OpenEdge Explorer toolbar button
.
- When started, OpenEdge Explorer prompts for an administrator user name and password. The default value is admin for both user name and password. You must change the password after the initial login. After you log in, OpenEdge Explorer runs in a browser embedded in the active perspective. For online help, click one of the help buttons in OpenEdge Explorer.

Change the default user name and password after logging in. You can also change
the default URL on the Server preferences page.
Note: To be able to access OpenEdge Explorer, you must enable it while installing OpenEdge. Also, make sure that the admin server is running. Server preferences page.
