Clearing alerts in bulk

OpenEdge Management enables you to clear alerts in bulk from the Alerts page, as shown in the following figure.

To clear alerts in bulk:
1. Click the Filter option on the Alerts page.
2. Select from the following options to display the alerts you want to clear:

Alert for resource
A resource name from the associated drop-down list (the default selection)
Alerts for adminserver
An AdminServer name from the associated drop-down list
Alerts of type
An alert type available in the associated drop-down list
Alerts that last occurred prior to
A date in the dd/mm/yyyy format at a specific time
3. Select the check box on the top-left of the Alerts page to select all the displayed alerts.
Deselect any alerts that you do not want to clear at this time.
4. Click Clear.
The Clear Alert confirmation box appears. Enter a comment, if you want, about the alert you are clearing and click Clear to confirm. See OpenEdge Management internal alerts for details about defining an action for alerts.
The unseen alert count as noted in the Alerts menu in the management console menu displays a total of zero unseen alerts at this time.
Optionally, you can also:
*Select multiple or all alerts in the Alerts page and click Clear to remove the alerts.
*Use the Clear all alerts option to remove the alerts displayed in a resource's home page, and the Resource Monitoring Summary page.
