Configuring Multi-tenancy
Managing users and domains in a multi-tenant database : Managing users in a multi-tenant database

Managing users in a multi-tenant database

You can create and delete users, and you can make changes to several user-related fields. You can also add users to a particular tenant. For more details, see Addinga user to a tenant.
You cannot modify the User ID, User name, or Domain name. You can modify the password only if you are the user/password owner.
Note: As you work with a multi-tenant database, you may find that access to some features or operations is disabled, possibly due to the user permissions defined in the database. For more information about user permissions, see Managing multi-tenant database table security for users.
