Generating a tenant program from an existing tenant

Generating a tenant program for an existing tenant creates a .p file (procedure file) that you then use to create the tenant and all its settings, including partition assignments. You can optionally include user and domain information associated with the tenant.
To generate a tenant program from an existing tenant:
1. Click Database Administration > Go to Database Administration in the OpenEdge Management console menu.
The Database Administration page appears.
2. Filter or search for, and select the required database connection.
The database connection home page appears.
3. Click View tenants in the Storage Management section.
The Tenant List page appears.
4. Select the tenant for which you want to generate a tenant program..
The tenant details page appears.
5. In the Manage Tenant section, choose one:
*Click Generate tenant program.
*Click Edit tenant.
From the tenant menu bar, select Tools > Generate tenant program
You are prompted to save the create_tenant.p file. If you want to create more than one tenant program, provide a unique file name to prevent the overwriting of an existing create_tenant.p file.
6. Click Save.
