Using your own certificate

If you want to use a certificate other than the demo included with OpenEdge Management or OpenEdge Explorer, you can do either of the following:

Generate your own certificate (to be placed in a JSEE-compatible keystore) by using the keytool utility. See Usingthe keytool utility for details.

Use an existing certificate that you have already acquired from a third-party CA. To use the existing certificate, follow Step3: Importing the CA Certificate and Step 4: Importing the signed certificate to the store.
