Reducing memory usage
If you run OpenEdge and find there is not enough main memory, try the following to reduce main memory use:
Reduce the amount of memory allocated to OpenEdge database buffers, as controlled by the
-B startup parameter
Change other startup parameters, such as
-n and
-L
