This chapter provides an overview of the steps that are required to deploy an OpenEdge® application using different code formats. It does not cover every possible contingency, but rather tries to give you a general understanding of the initial deployment process for the different code formats. This chapter puts more emphasis on what to do, rather than how to do it.
