Use this parameter to specify the number of seconds to wait when a lock conflict occurs. This value applies to all conflicts that occur while using SQL applications. The default value is 5 seconds.
Note: Progress Software Corporation recommends changing the value of Lock Wait Timeout( -SQLLockwaitTimeout) to a higher value if your installation encounters a lot of conflicts.
