You can create a Business Process (as discussed in
Creating a Business Process) that can be used as a monitoring process. The following restrictions apply to a monitoring process:
It must include at least one monitoring workstep. A monitoring workstep can be of type, External activity or adapter, which receives external events for activation and completion.
Any dataslot, associated with a monitoring workstep, must be editable, so that its value can be modified by the external event. For more information, see
