Sitefinity CMS Standard, Professional, Online Marketing, and Enterprise editions include different sets of functionality as listed in Sitefinity features. A Sitefinity license is domain-based. A single license file enables deployment of a production site for one registered domain name, and you can purchase licenses for additional domain names. Associating the domain name with the license is not necessary to begin development. Sometime before deploying the website in the production environment, an authorized user must associate the domain name(s) with the license(s). For development, testing, and staging environments, the same license file can be used by an unlimited number of developers for an unlimited number of sub-domains.
