Creating an OpenEdge database

To create an OpenEdge database:
1. From the main menu bar,select Window > Show View > Connections, and click OK. This displays the Connections view tab.
2. In the Connections view, click Menu and choose Create OpenEdge database.
3. In the Create Database dialog, enter the physical name of the database and its full path (Sports2000.db). Click Files to browse to the appropriate directory (C:\OpenEdge\WRK).
4. Using the radio buttons, select the type of database you want to start with (in this case, A copy of Sports2000 db).
5. Click OK. A confirmation message appears.
