Install and Manage Web app services

To install and manage Web App Services, ensure that the PAS for OpenEdge instance is running. From the OpenEdge Management menu, select Resources-> Progress Application Server. Filter or search for and select the required PAS for OpenEdge instance.
The ABL APPLICATIONS page appears by default, listing all the existing ABL applications managed by PAS for OpenEdge.
Select the WEB APP SERVICES tab. The Web application services grid displays a list of deployed Web application services, if available. The _oepingService is the default REST Service name for any Web application. Perform any of the following operations:

Refresh
Click to refresh the Web application services grid.
Deploy
To deploy a Web application service of type REST or SOAP .Click the Deploy tab. The Deploy web service wizard appears.
1. In the Select transport service file field, perform one of the following actions to upload a Web application service.
*Browse to locate and select a .paar, .zip or .wsm file.
*In the Web application name field, search and select the associated Web application name for the Web application service.
This field appears only when a .paar or .zip is selected.
2. Type a name for the Web service in the Web service name.
3. Deploy the Web service application on PAS for OpenEdge.
The OpenEdge Web service application is deployed.
Undeploy
This operation is disabled by default and is enabled when a Web application service is selected.
To undeploy a Web application service on PAS for OpenEdge. Choose multiple Web application services to perform this operation in bulk.
Disable
This operation is disabled by default and is enabled when there is a Web application service(s) available with State ENABLED.
To disable a Web application service. Choose multiple Web application services to perform this operation in bulk.
Enable
This operation is disabled by default and is enabled when there is a Web application service(s) available with State DISABLED.
To enable a Web application service. Choose multiple Web application services to perform this operation in bulk.
