Release 11.6.2 of OpenEdge Business Process Management includes the following:

New web interface for Reporting — The Report Builder in the Business Process Portal of OpenEdge 11.6.2 provides a new web interface that enables you to create and execute Application (Query), Multiapplication, and External reports without any plugin dependency.

With latest browsers restricting or reducing the support for Java plugins, the Business Process Server Report Builder is migrated from a Java applet-based interface to a new web interface. Java applets are removed from the Report Builder to support the modern browsers. The Business Process Portal is not affected by these changes, and you can access it even with browsers that do not support plugins.

The new web interface allows you to perform the following actions in a single window, instead of multiple tabs:
