Welcome to Progress DataDirect for ODBC for SAP S/4HANA Driver: Version 8.0.0

The Progress® DataDirect® for ODBC™ for SAP S/4HANA™ driver (S/4HANA driver) supports SQL read-write access for ODBC applications to SAP S/4HANA cloud instances. To support SQL access to SAP S/4HANA, the driver creates a relational map of the SAP S/4HANA data model and translates SQL statements to S/4HANA OData requests. In addition, the driver employs a SQL engine component that provides support to SQL constructs unavailable in SAP S/4HANA. This functionality offers a number of advantages, including support for reporting data and metadata in a form that ODBC applications are ready to use.
