Using a Logon Dialog Box

Some ODBC applications display a logon dialog box when you are connecting to a data source. In these cases, the host name has already been specified.

In this dialog box, provide the following information:
1. In the Host Name field, type the host name of the Oracle Service Cloud site to which you want to connect; for example, mysite.custhelp.com.
2. In the Interface Name field, type the name of the Oracle Service Cloud interface to which you want to connect.
3. In the Database field, type the file name prefix the driver uses to create or locate the set of files that define the embedded database per connection. See "Mapping Objects to Tables" for an explanation of embedded database.
4. In the User Name field, type your logon ID.
5. In the Password field, type your password.
6. Click OK to complete the logon.
