The installer requires a Java Virtual Machine (JVM):
For version 7.1, Java SE 7 or higher
For version 8.0, Java SE 8 or higher.
For the Autonomous REST Connector, GoogleBigQuery, Snowflake, Salesforce, and TeamCity drivers, the installer uses and deploys the following Java versions:
Windows: OpenJDK 11
Linux x32: Oracle JDK 8
Linux x64: OpenJDK 11
For other platforms, a JRE version 8 or higher is required; however, the installer does not deploy a copy of the JVM for these operating systems.
For UNIX users, the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) must be defined on your path.
For version 7.1, Java SE 7 or higher
