A 64-bit Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is required. See "Driver Requirements" for a list of supported JVMs. Also, you must set the library path environment variable of your operating system to the directory containing your JVM’s libjvm.so file and that directory’s parent directory.
The library path environment variable is LD_LIBRARY_PATH on Linux.
