Troubleshooting and FAQ for Hybrid Data Pipeline

The following answers some common questions about Hybrid Data Pipeline:
1. How do I contact someone about my account?
Contact your Progress sales engineer.
2. Where do I get the login credentials for the Data Store?
You must get the login credentials of the Data Store from the Administrator of the Data Store.
3. Why can't I connect to Hybrid Data Pipeline Server from my browser?
All of the client access and client access notification ports must be enabled for incoming network traffic to the server. If the ports are not enabled for incoming network traffic, the connection will fail.
4. Why can't I connect to the Data Store?
There are several possible causes for a connection problem. To troubleshoot Data Store connection errors, check the following areas for problems:
*Verify that the Data Store is available. Try logging in without using Hybrid Data Pipeline.
*Verify that the User Name, Password, and Security Token (if required) are correct.
*Verify that the URL is correct and entered without a protocol prefix.
5. Why can't I connect to my Eloqua Data Store?
To connect to Eloqua using Hybrid Data Pipeline requires that the OpenAccess Server component is installed. Refer to the Installation Guide additional information.
*Verify that the OpenAccess Server component was installed before the Hybrid Data Pipeline Server. If not, you must uninstall and reinstall the Hybrid Data Pipeline Server.
*Verify that the Eloqua Server is running. We recommend that you run the serviceMonitor script, which automatically restarts the Eloqua Server.
6. Can I create multiple Data Source definitions for each Data Store type?
Yes, you can create multiple Data Source definitions for a Data Store type  as long as the Data Source definitions have unique names.
7. Why did my Hybrid Data Pipeline session time out?
If you do not refresh or request a page within the time-out period of thirty minutes, the session ends.
