Connecting from an Application to Hybrid Data Pipeline
You can use Hybrid Data Pipeline to provide access to data stores for packaged applications and custom applications. Packaged applications define their own way of specifying a JDBC connection. However, the JDBC URL for packaged applications will be identical to the URL you would use in a custom application.
Once the Hybrid Data Pipeline Driver forJDBC is installed and configured, you can connect from a custom application to a Hybrid Data PipelineData Source in either of the following ways:
Using the JDBC Driver Manager, by specifying the connection URL in the DriverManager.getConnection() method. See Connecting using the JDBC Driver Manager for more information.
Creating a JDBC data source that can be accessed through the Java Naming Directory Interface (JNDI). See Connecting using JDBC data sources for sample code that you can use as a template for creating and using your own JDBC data sources.
