Configuring IP address whitelists through the Web UI

Take the following steps to configure IP address whitelists through the Web UI.
Note: IP address whitelists are enabled by default. Unless you have disabled this feature, any IP address whitelist you create will immediately be enforced. For how to enable or disable IP address whitelists, see Enabling and disabling the IP address whitelist feature.
1. Navigate to the Manage IP WhiteList view by clicking the IP address whitelist icon .
2. From the Select Level dropdown, select the level at which you want to apply the IP address whitelist.
*System applies the whitelist across the system. After selecting System, proceed to Step 3.
*Tenant applies the whitelist to a selected tenant. After selecting Tenant, select the tenant from the Select Tenant dropdown. Then, proceed to Step 3.
*User applies the whitelist to a specified user. After selecting User, select the tenant to which the user belongs from the Select Tenant dropdown. Next, specify a user from the User dropdown. Then, proceed to Step 3.
3. Click New IP Range.
4. Select the resource you want to secure from the Resource dropdown.
5. Enter the IP address or IP address range for the whitelist.
*If providing a single IP address, enter the address in the Start IP field.
*If providing an IP address range, enter the beginning of the range in the Start IP field and the end of the range in the End IP field.
6. Click Save to apply the IP address whitelist.
