Using Data Sources : Data Source Connection Parameters

Data Source Connection Parameters

You define the information that DataDirect Cloud needs to connect to the data store in a data source. These default connection values are used each time you or your application connects to a particular data store. In addition to user credentials, the data store may provide other options you can use to tune security and performance, and to support features such as OData.
The data source parameters supported are similar in many cases for both cloud and on-premise versions of the data stores. However, for simplicity, because the environments have different requirements for security and other connection features, the connection parameters are listed separately.
