Mapping tab options : Audit Columns

Audit Columns

The AuditColumns map option applies to Salesforce-based and Oracle Service Cloud data stores. These data stores create extra columns for auditing purposes. By default, the DataDirect Cloud map includes them. You can control access to these columns on the Mapping tab of a Data Source definition. Add an AuditColumns value for Map Options and set it to a value defined in the tables below.
The AuditColumns parameter determines whether to include audit columns when it defines the data model-to-relational table mapping.
The following sections list the audit columns for these data stores:
*Salesforce-based Data Store Audit Columns
*Oracle Service Cloud-created Audit Columns

Salesforce-based Data Store Audit Columns

The audit columns and values defined below are applicable to the following data stores:
*Salesforce
*ServiceMax
*Veeva CRM
*FinancialForce
The audit columns added by DataDirect Cloud are:
*IsDeleted
*CreatedById
*CreatedDate
*LastModifiedById
*LastModifiedDate
*SYSTEMMODESTAMP
The following table describes the valid values for the auditColumns Map Option.
Table 173. Valid values for AuditColumns for Salesforce
Value
Description
All
DataDirect Cloud includes all of the audit columns and the MasterRecordId column in its table definitions.
AuditOnly
DataDirect Cloud adds only the audit columns in its table definitions.
MasterOnly
DataDirect Cloud adds only the MasterRecordId column in its table definitions.
None
DataDirect Cloud does not add the audit columns or the MasterRecordId column in its table definitions.
The default value for AuditColumns is All.
In a typical Salesforce instance, not all users are granted access to the Audit or MasterRecordId columns. If AuditColumns is set to a value other than None and if DataDirect Cloud cannot include the columns requested, the connection fails and an exception is thrown.

Oracle Service Cloud-created Audit Columns

The Audit Columns are added by Oracle Service Cloud on standard objects and also on custom objects. The audit columns and values defined below are applicable to the Oracle Service Cloud data store.
The following audit columns are added by Oracle Service Cloud on its standard objects:
*CreatedTime
*UpdatedTime
The following audit columns are added by Oracle Service Cloud on its custom objects. Your Oracle Service Cloud administrator must enable all four columns on the Object Fields tab of the Object Designer, or you cannot query against the custom objects.
*CreatedTime
*UpdatedTime
*CreatedByAccountId
*UpdatedByAccountId
