Working with EDC in Corticon Server

Corticon Server requires that you have a copy of a license that enables EDC on each in-process and web service server location that intends to use EDC.
When you create a Decision Service (.eds) or Corticon Deployment Descriptor (.cdd) in either the Deployment Console or the Web Console, you are provided the option to choose the database access mode, allowing the user to choose Read Only access or Read/Update access.
You also can specify the database access connection parameters that were generated from Studio.
See the tutorials Modeling Progress Corticon Rules to Access a Database using EDC and Connecting a Progress Corticon Decision Service to a Database using EDC, available at https://www.progress.com/tutorials/corticon, for more information.
