Running a job

You can run a new created job immediately.
Note: For existing jobs created prior to OpenEdge 11.1, you must update the start date and time to the current date and time else the management console might return an error when running the job. For updating the start date and time, see Scheduling a job.
To run a created job immediately:
1. Select Jobs > Job Scheduling > Defined Jobs in the OpenEdge Management console menu.
The Jobs.Defined Jobs page appears.
2. Select the job you want to run.
The job summary page appears.
3. Click Run Now.
A window appears showing that the job has been scheduled to run now.
