Initial number of servers to start

The number of agents you want the broker to start initially.

Minimum servers

The minimum number of agents before the broker starts additional agents. If you trim the number of agents below this value, the server starts any additional agents needed to maintain the specified minimum when the next client connects.

Maximum servers

The maximum number of agents that this server can have running at the same time.
